The SHARE Blog, a group of eight researchers using SHARE (Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe) data is in the second year of its existence.
We publish bi-weekly posts about leading research in ageing, including health and health care, social inclusion and social networks, labour market, retirement, influence of early life on older age, global ageing studies, and methodological developments.
So far, we have published 28 posts which discuss topics such as outcomes of individual diseases like dementia and diabetes, long-term care coverage and public pension entitlements, material and social deprivation, influence of environmental pollution on ageing, friendship networks, health-employment nexus, influence of access to prescription drugs, and grandchildren care.
If there is something you miss or any particular freshly published article you would recommend, feel free to contact us with your ideas!
We will be on vacation until our next post on 20th August.
We wish you a summer filled with joy, fun and everything you desire and hoping you will come back to read more of our posts based on articles in leading journals and publications on ageing using SHARE data.
Have a great summertime!
